Something keep draining my battery on a 2002 Ford Crown Vic, I’ve changed the battery, alternator, battery post, starter and nothing works. Someone said it could be a bad relay switch, would that have anything to do with the battery?MelloJun 02, 2024
Best Answer:Hi Mel, thank you for reaching out. Yes, that is possible. We highly suggest that a certified automotive electrician diagnose your vehicle to pinpoint the cause of the issue and the part needing replacement. Thank you for inquiring. Have a nice day.

Hello so I have an 04 Dakota sxt 3.7 V6 and have full functionality on my instrument cluster but no backlights, the check engine and all those lights still work but is completely dark at night causing me to not be able to see my speed. Is it possible it’s all bulbs or is it likely some relay? I checked engine bay fuses they all looked good. Is this the part I need?Nutz5427Dec 29, 2023
Best Answer:Hi Shane, I'm pleased to assist you. The issue you're describing with the instrument cluster backlighting could be due to a few different reasons. It may be related to the bulbs or the relay, but it could also be an issue with the instrument cluster itself or a related electrical component. We can not diagnose without seeing the vehicle. It may be a good idea to consult with a professional mechanic for a thorough diagnosis.

Hi, I'm Ray. I own a 2003 Lincoln Town Car the Presidential series and my odometer goes on and off every once in a while, while I'm driving. Usually a slap or two on top of the dashboard gets it going again but not always. Could it be a loose wire or is it the relay switch?Raymond C.Aug 16, 2023
Best Answer:Hi Raymond, I'm pleased to assist you. Intermittent issues with the odometer display going on and off could indeed be caused by a variety of factors, including a loose wire, a malfunctioning relay switch, or even a problem with the instrument cluster itself. It's advisable to consult a professional mechanic or automotive electrician. They have the tools and expertise to diagnose the exact cause of the problem.
