What are the symptoms of a bad camshaft position sensor?Jessie W.Feb 17, 2021
Best Answer:Hi Jessie, As per checking, here are the few symptoms of failing camshaft position sensor: 1. Vehicle does not drive like it used to. If your vehicle idles roughly, stalls frequently, has a drop in engine power, stumbles frequently, has reduced gas mileage, or accelerates slowly, these are all signs your camshaft position sensor could be failing. 2. Check Engine Light comes on. 3. Vehicle will not start. We highly recommend that a certified mechanic diagnose the vehicle to pinpoint what part needs replacement.
