Caution with oversized items
My item arrived damaged beyond usefulness. I would not order any item that requires freight delivery unless Car Parts changes the method they use to package and ship oversized items....like vehicle hoods. Although the damage occurred in transit, it's the shippers' responsibility to show reasonable care in preparing items for shipment. Minimal effort was made by CP to ensure safe delivery as packaging was substandard when compared to how another on line retailer shipped an identical item to me, which arrived protected and undamaged. In support of CP, they readily accepted return of my item without any question and were very fast to credit my account the full cost of the item including shipping and handling.

Dented Hood
Great service getting the new hood. Fare amount of time for delivery. and easy to order. How ever it came with a dent on the side. Small and easy to bondo up but still something else to have do. Had a dent on the front of the hood where looks like someone sat it down a little hard bent the corner. I did not complain and did the repairs as needed. should have taken photos of damage but didn't. Looks great now.
