While doing a total rebuild of my tailgate and locking mechanism these are the problems I ran into: a. two rods sent with kit are NOT compatible with 93 Ford F150 b. I had to use original pre-owned rods to get everything to line up and start working after 2.5 hours try to make adjustments for boxed equipment. It took all of 10 minutes to fix once I put back on the original rods in tailgate. C. Parts are very cheaply made as every time I open my tailgate the spring pops out of place and I have to use a screwdriver to get it back in. I needed this product desperately/ and got it to work for me. BE ADVISED: I got burned on this Deal/Save your Money! but Company has other Great Items, this is just Not one of them.
