Answered by Aldrin P. / Sun, Nov 27I bought one for a 1997 Ranger and it wouldn't work. My switch has 12 pins and the one I got had 11. even Ford could not get for me, they said it was on back order. If your switch has 11 pins you'll
probably be fine.

Answered by Grace G. / Tue, Mar 14After replacing what I swore was the fix (neutral safety switch) still didn’t start. I was stupid! Battery ground was loose. Discovered it when going to charge battery. Don’t miss the obvious. No starting problems after giving the ground a good cleaning and retighten.
