If it does not have the backing plate. Please call our hotline, 1-866-529-0412, and ask to be transferred to our returns department. Just to remind you, this item does not come with installation hardware. We suggest getting those locally through a local auto supply store or the dealership.

Mirror is fine but I paid more on this site thinking the photographed clips also came with it as I could not find them locally... the clips are NOT included. The only place they give this information is a previously asked question from someone else who did the same as me.
