Good deal for the price
Best price I could find on the Ford OEM part was $545! Even a used mirror from a scrap yard was $275. This unit was about $220 with shipping, and is brand new with warranty.
Bolts directly on, using the three existing holes in the door - everything lined up perfectly and it plugged right in to the existing wiring. Installation is pretty easy - what makes it slightly complicated is that you have to remove the whole door panel to get it - but that's just how the truck is assembled, not the fault of the mirror.
The whole job took me maybe 30 minutes.
The mirror works fine and from a distance is a direct match for the original. The only thing I would observe is that the plastics it's made of feel a little lighter weight and cheaper than the Ford original. But considering it's less than half the price, I'll take the compromise. So far, it works perfectly and seems to be a very good replacement at a much better price.
