Location of part on 03 ford 4.0?A shopperJul 14, 2020

Is this piece made of ABS? If so, is the one joint I see on it, the adhesive used to keep it together… must be ABS glue, right? That joint on mine has become separated. Nothing broken. Antifreeze drips out as the joint is basically a cold joint right now, with nothing that holds it together… no thread, no bolts, no rubber gasket even… no clamp type anything, when my truck (2009’ford ranger) is on, it drips antifreeze from that joint when the pressure it’s meant to withstand normally, is applied. Just need to glue it back together… gotta be abs glue.pauldeanv3Sep 24, 2022
Best Answer:Hi, we could not determine if we used ABS glue on this part. Our parts are made to the exact specifications s of the original equipment. Many issues with a heater control valve can stem from a coolant leak, which can cause your engine to overheat – posing a severe risk of expensive engine damage. If you notice any of the above signs, it is essential to get your vehicle inspected by a car care professional right away.
