Best Answer:Hello! Typically you can get to them by just pulling the transmission oil pan, but sometimes you have to pull the valve body. The tricky part is knowing which solenoid is which! That information should be in a good service manual.

If you're experiencing transmission solenoid troubles, it will become evident in one of four ways:
-Your transmission gets stuck in neutral.
-You can't downshift, and your engine continues to rev even when applying the brakes.
-Delayed gear shifting.
-Shifting gears become rough and choppy

This part is a transmission solenoid (automatic) is an electro-hydraulic valve that controls fluid flow into and throughout an automatic transmission. They operate via a current supplied by the transmission computer. We highly recommend having the vehicle diagnosed by a certified mechanic to determine what pump solenoid needs replacement.
