There are conflicting answers on this item, and it is difficult to tell via the photos. Does this item include both the cowl and the seal that touches the windshield? Or is this only the cowl replacement and I need to purchase waterproof seal elsewhere?Andrew R.Jan 21, 2021

This comes with the left and right wiper cowl and weatherstrip seal with it's mounting pins/clips.

Just installed this item on a 2006 escape to replace the factory one that dry rotted where it met the windshield. Fits great and does the job it's intended to do. The gap in the center where left and right meet seems a bit larger than original but it's not an issue
