The 2012 Ford Edge requires a different lift support for the tailgate for the left/drivers side versus the right passenger side. It doesn’t show there is a different one for each side. How can I know it’ll fit?  FYI. I have been to multiple places online and off and can find the one that fits the right side properly, but can’t find one that fits other side. These lifters work great!. Before, I had trouble lifting my rear hatch, it stayed up, but it would slam closed with only a slight tug. Now, after lifting the hatch up a little over a foot, the hatch raises up as if it had an automatic lift assembly.
