Customer Reviews

Old pan rusted through (over 20 years in the Northeast, salt takes its toll!) my truck has over 200,000 miles but plenty of life left. I expected the "cheap" oil pan to be a thin sheet metal but it wasn't. The steel used is at least as thick as the OEM one. Paint looks good, and the bolt holes matched up fine. Other than the hard work of changing the oil pan while the engine is still in the vehicle this worked out fine. I highly recomment using the Fel-Pro gasket with this, and follow your manual (Haynes if you have one) to the letter on replacing the oil pan. Overall GREAT value for a replacement.

its what it sayes it is. It is not one of those thin cheep oil pans it is just as thick as the OE.

Oil Pan, 4.9L, 6 Cyl. Engine
replacement oil pan
This was exactly what I was needing and easy to install. I did have buy a pan gasket kit to replace the oil pan when I installed the new one. I right away liked that it was painted black and very heavy gauge metal
