Ordered the part with as part of a $900 plus order. Everything was right except the chain guides. After a few calls with the manufacturer and bouncing around on other web sites I discovered the "W" vin requires the SA suffix part. APW lists one part for all cons on the 4.6L engine. This is in error. Rather than delaying my time sensitive rebuild I bought new guides from a local parts store and away I went.
while great parts, there is very little difference between the stock design and this kit. Perhaps the chain alloy is different, but that seems to be it.
will it make a difference, I'll see.
