Best Answer:Hi John, All ECM units must be flashed on, vehicle specific on-car programming must be performed AFTER install to prevent drivability issues. You can have it flashed ON thru a delearship or A1 cardone themselves. Cardone would come with instructional with it to have it shipped back to them and back to you after flashing.
