Product Q&A

My truck isn't starting I believe I've narrowed it down to the fuel pump or something to do with fuel pressure. I've got very low pressure at the injectors. I was planning on buying the whole fuel pump assembly once I saw the list of parts I thought I better ask somebody with a little more knowledge. Before I purchase the whole fuel pump assembly could you help me narrow down low what it might be? Thank youJason G.Aug 31, 2020
Best Answer:Hello! Can you hear the fuel pump prime if you turn the key on when the engine is cold? That would indicate that the fuel pump is getting power. You can always check with a multimeter, and make sure the fuses, relay, and wiring are good as well. If that fuel pump is getting power, but your fuel pressure is still low, then your fuel pressure regulator has likely failed.
