Best Answer:Hi Gene, The head bolts are designed to stretch when torqued, to yield. Please check the manufacturer's specifications on the tightening pattern and oil the bolts prior to tightening. A bolt of this design is intended to be installed in the plastic range and cannot be reused after being tightened once. These head bolts are for VIN K, SOHC Engine, 12 Valve.
