One tough home mechanic work. VoTech was fantastic doing it
I saw the process to replace this in my Haynes Manual. I didn't attempt it because I am disabled. I have the brain n brawn to do so. But at 60 yrs old. Nope. Lol. I took it to my local votech for the boys to have a good brainers to rip my Liberty apart again for some evap emission work so I could pass inspection. The boys only have 3.5 hrs of active shop a day with thier book learning about the vehicle le work to be done in the morning. This group had it done in 4 days for me. A great group of future mechanics they are. Thier teacher was a top shelf mechanic for my counties Toyota Dealers. They even replaced parts I didn't know that were deteriorated underneath. It is quite the job replacing this bad boy but this n the purge solenoid did the trick. No more engine light surprises n my 04 Liberty sport 4x4. which I called "Knyghtmare" gets a lil better gas mileage n passed PA State Emissions Inspection 100% Not to shabby for a 19 yr old jeep with 163K miles.
