K & N CAI on a 04 4.7L Durango
After an in depth decission process I decided to go with the most recognized name in CAI's. I feel I'm a pretty good wrench but a few parts of th einstructions gave me some issues. Not the install but the uninstall. Hint only turn a Air Temp Sensor 1/4 turn to get it out. Once installed the inital sound had me pulling this thing off but after a minutes the rush of air sound subsides 90%. You hardly hear any more noise unless your foot is near the floor, then it really wakes up the motor and even the stock exhaust note. I did the upgrade for a bit more power but most of all MPG's and after some miles it appears to be good for at least 1more mpg, throttle response it better also. Within a week I also added a Flowmaster Cat back kit and the K &N combined with the exhaust is a perfect match.

Great product, Amazing HP Increase!
I added this to my 05 Dodge Durango with a 4.7 and the horsepower increase is fantastic. I was looking for more horses under the hood and got it! The shipping was a bit slow, took 5 days instead of 3, but it works great!
