I received both Door Lock Actuators and installed the passenger-side actuator soon after. After the install, I notice that the rod is having a hard time opening the door. Is there an adjustment that I can make to make it easier for some of those gears to rotate?Brian L.Jul 25, 2021
Best Answer:Hi Brian, I'm glad to assist you. There is no adjustment to be done. Once the rod is clipped on to the correct locking clip it should function with ease. You can double check the connections and spray a bit of W40 to loosen up the mechanical actuator since it was stocked for quite some time on the warehouse. This order was placed on Jan. 8 and every time the delivery date is two or three days out it pushes the delivery date further ahead. The track feature says the part has not been delivered to fedex.
