How do I know how many cylinders and liters are the make of my car? 73 Dodge Charger 2 door hardtop 318 motor.   Just so I know for parts.   I don’t remember!    ThsnksLaura P.Dec 18, 2021
Best Answer:Hi Laura, thank you for reaching out. A 318 motor is equivalent to an 8-cylinder engine with 5.6 liers. Call our parts team at 1-866-529-0412 so we can help look up parts for you. Have a good one.

I have a 1973 Dodge Charger and after picking it up at the repair shop the steering was so tight and made like a scraping grinding noise!   Brought it back n he said bearings went out!   How can they test drive my car n not tell me this?   When I brought it there it did not do this.   It had play in the wheel but this pissed me off. Anyways I’m thinking this is the part I need but don’t think I wanna go back there! The last shop prior did some wiring for me and a couple weeks later flames came out of the steering column.   They just left wires hanging touching my fuse box which produced the flame…. While I was driving! So I’m thinking s fuse box, steering column rebuild kit and I need a horn relay switch?? Horn not working, and power steering is leaking.  Might be a seal, not sure.    So if u know of a reputable mopar guy in my area,  that would be nice to hear.    I’m over incompetence and feeling like I’m getting screwed every time.    Help!    Thank u. Best Answer:Hello! Sorry to hear about your experiences. This is indeed the part that is likely causing your tight steering and grinding noise. Unfortunately, I am not sure what exactly it will take to fix your electrical issue without seeing and testing some things. If you post the city you are in, perhaps a local customer can share their preferred repair facility.
