I bought a matching set of these headlights and they look great. There are "bulb" "sheilds" it appears that severely reduces the output of the lights. Are those sheilds supposed to be taken off before installing?Jim R.Oct 13, 2020

Headlights for a 2006 Dodge Dakota
Bought replacement headlights for my daughter's Dodge Dakota. Took less than an hour to replace and they look 100% better than the faded original ones. Do recommend adjusting where they are aiming though. Did the replacement during the day and when my daughter drove it that night she said they were really bright but they were pointing down instead of out. That was a 5 minutes correction. Great product!
