Product Q&A

Had two new tires mounted on the rims of my 2008 Dodge Ram 1500. I noticed they failed to replace the tpms cap on one of the valve stems after receiving a tire pressure warning.  I am now wondering if they damaged the tpms valve stem itself. Will replacing the valve stem with the Crown 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 - TPMS Valve Stem - Direct Fit, Sold individually rectify the problem?JRHFeb 04, 2021
Best Answer:Hi JimH, Yes, replacing that part will solve the problem but, this part does not fit the 2008 Dodge Ram 1500. Upon checking, we currently do not have a direct-fit replacement of this part for the vehicle.

Is this all I need to get my TPS sensor working?Touncie Y.Nov 02, 2020
Best Answer:Hi Touncie, If your mechanic confirms a defective TPMS valve stem, this is the one that will replace and fix it. But for more comprehensive troubleshooting and diagnostic, we recommend referring to a trusted vehicle specific repair manual for details about the repair of your TPMS.
