One way to verify however, is by choosing the exact vehicle application and engine size and matching the fitment details noted. If your truck has a 3.9 liter engine this will fit if you have an X on the first 8 characters of your truck's VIN number. Also, if you have the 5.2 liter engine, this will be compatible if you have a letter Y on the first 8 characters of your VIN number. The gear ratio is not mentioned anymore since the technical specifications of this part matches the factory original specifications of the OEM original part.
