After the EGR was replaced the diagnostic on the computer still showed the EGR value was the problem but this happened before when I replaced a EGR value and I was instructed it may be the EGR solenoid. I've purchased that part but haven't had it installed to see if it fixed the problem.

The EGR valve appeared to be a OEM part, rather than just a replacement part. Also it came with a high grade aluminum gasket. I did disconnect the positive battery cable prior to removal of the old EGR Valve, so to reset the "check engine light" manually. Then after installing the new valve, I re-attached the positive cable, started the car, and the "check engine light" has never came on since. Btw...I did replace the Vacuum check valve as well since it was only another $32.
