In-Line Fuel Pump Electric Without Fuel Sending Unit
Delphi Fuel pump for 84 Toyota Cressida
The original equipt was not available from Toyota so an aftermarket pump was the only option. This is an external fuel pump and it fit perfectly using the adapters in the kit. The shortcoming was that there was no conical fuel filter included in the kit to prevent dirt from entering this new pump from the gas tank. The original one was not re-usable. The mechanic was unable to order one anywhere and had to just assemble it without a filter. This means I will have to find an in-line filter to install on the hose from the tank to the fuel pump. The hose is quite large( about 1/2 inch inside diameter) which will be a challenge to find.
