Upper Intake Manifold, 8 Cylinder, For Models Without Map Sensors, Designed Specifically To Work With Dorman Oe Solutions Intake Manifold Gaskets Only
DORMANT and FAST with a collar
This intake is more than what I had expected ! ! A++
It came with everything needed to swap out my old intake, not only that the shipping was great ! Fast and able to track ! The overall quality of the intake, in the description it says that it's a one piece design but it's actually a 3 piece design which is even better (you know what I mean for the gear heads out there)....Quality of the intake is great, all the ports for the sensors, vacuum hoses, and injectors where spot on, everything fit like a glove and no slop,when installing it dropped right into place anf it fit perfect, only REAL concern that I had about the intake was the mounting bolts, they're not the greatest but they're not the cheapest quality, when tightening if you are a nauvice ""DO NOT TIGHTEN TILL THEY SNAP, YOU WILL REGRET IT "" The factory bolts in the old intake are a captured bolt that you can not use with this intake, take special care of not over tightening because these bolt are a (TTY)TORQUE TO YEILD bolt and they will stretch and or snap if tightened to tight, follow torque specs with a quality INCH LBS torque wrench !!!!!!
Now for the gear heads like my self....it's a twin that's dormant but comparable to a fast tiger with a collar 🤫...just need to shave some of the beard off, it comes with everything needed as said before, only thing is, is it necked down for the factory TB, but compared to the factory, it has long runner, and looking into the TB opening the interior compared to the factory intake is like dropping a golf ball in a bucket, I picked up some very noticeable points !!!
ON A SCALE 1 TO 10 ??? This intake is a 9.5ALL DAY !!!! Only because of shaving the beard and the mounting bolts....I AM 100% PLEASED with the purchase and absolutely will buy again ! ! ! on my next rebuild or refresh
