So I tried the non-heated mirror on my 2009 Saturn XR but the connection was completely different when I took the old one off - currently there are about six wires in lieu of the three on the new one and the current connection is smaller.  Additionally the connection on the current one is short as the electric mirror adjustment is connected to the inside plastic panel you remove to get at the 10mm screws   The current one installed in the car does not have the little heated lines on it so I don't think it is heated - not sure why it doesn't fit.  What do you suggest my next step should be?
