Best Answer:Hi Theresa, This part fits the 2006 Pontiac G6 GTP 6 Cyl 3.9L that has Federal type emission. Please check the Vehicle Emission Control Information sticker usually found underneath the hood of the car to make sure the catalytic converter matches the car's Emission label specifications.

OUTSTANDING customer service, BEST price, FAST delivery!
This review is more about your great service than the part itself: I am 79 and have not worked on cars for many years, so when our 2007 Pontiac G6 needed BOTH catalytic converters replaced, my local mechanic said I could save a lot of money by ordering on-line and he would only charge labor to install them. I was confused by all the various listings and prices on different web sites, but I called the help number on your web site and talked to "Jose" in the Philippines. He kindly helped me find and order the rear converter at the lowest price of all, which arrived a few days later (he did not have the other one, but I was able to order that one from a different service). Together they cost over $400, and labor was over $600, but my mechanic said I saved $400-$500 on parts!

The culprit to a lagging speed problem!
Perfect fit the mechanic did not have to make any adjustments eliminating the middleman which would have been extra finance had a little hell removing rusty screws but got it installed and saved some notes car runs with a lot of pep
