what does "heated" mean when talking about the o2 sensors?RONAug 16, 2021
Best Answer:Hi Ron, I'm glad to assist you. Oxygen sensors must be hot around 600 degrees or higher before generating a voltage signal. Heated oxygen sensors have an internal heater circuit that brings the sensor up to operating temperature quicker than an unheated sensor. I hope this helps and happy shopping.
