Rear Z23 Daily Carbon-Fiber Ceramic Brake Pad And Drilled Amp; Slotted Rotor Kit
Don't get warped about stopping.
I travel across 3 mountains to get to and from work 5 days a week. I had been having to change my brakes twice a year because of the steep, long decents down the mountains. Normal rotors would warp after a couple of months use and normal pads (metalic) would be burned up, even down shifting to low gear while decending. I purchased these rotors and pads because they are more resistant to wear, heat and warping. They are. The drilled and slotted rotors work much better when they are wet, and there is no grinding sound like that associated with metallic pads. The only thing I don't like is that the drilled and slotted rotors cause a vibration as the pads slide over them, under pressure. You can feel the vibration through the steering wheel and brake pedal. There is also a noise associated with the vibration. It is annoying and gives one to wonder if there is something wrong with the brakes. I experience the same symptoms with my motorcycle, which has the same type of rotors
