Check your thermostat housing for built-in sensor
This pump arrived a few days late (not CarParts fault) and unfortunately, even though it was stated to fit both the 2.0 and 2.5 engines, and although it technically does, it does not come with the built-in thermostat which my make/model requires. The thermostat sensor on the old pump cannot be transferred to this one, so I had to buy the appropriate thermostat housing assembly for $40 from a local store since it's not available at CarParts. I'll still buy parts from CarParts considering how low their prices are for top brands, but I just wanted to let future buyers know to check their water pump for the built-in thermostat before buying this part.
