The materials used in making this product are probably no different than the ones you would see in products sold in other states. You can just simply wash the dash cap with mild soap and water, vinegar and water, or wipe it with alcohol and rinse it thoroughly. Be sure to test the cleaner of your choice on an area not visible or on the underside first to avoid damaging the surface. Additionally, it's always a good idea to wear gloves when handling cleaning products to avoid skin irritation. I hope this helps.
