The problem with my 1986 C4 fuel sending unit turns out to be a broken wire on the strip of windings of the sending unit where the moving float arm makes contact. Does anybody make a replacement sending unit and arm only, without the entire sending unit bracket and fuel pump housing? It's looking like its going to cost $120 to replace a $1 part...James M.Sep 18, 2020
