the product was a good buy, i truely believe the performance of my cavalier was improved by adding the catalytic converter to my exhaust and junking the origional. the price was cheaper than any local auto parts store, and i didnt have to weld it on.on the other hand, there was a lot of weld spatter on the flanges in crucial areas. before installing i had to knock off the berrys and then stone the flanges, so it was not an immediate install when i took it out of the box, but i guess that is something that makes it a good price and makes up for not having to weld anything.the gaskets were smashed up pretty good when i removed them from the box, so i added a little high temp permatex on the flanges, installed it and it was good to go, and it works great.

Quality Product For '03 Cavalier
There was a little welding splatter on one of the flanges of the replacement cat but a small file took it right off. The fit was perfect, no adjustments needed on the exhaust system. The catalytic converter was a little bigger than the original and I think this may be why the flow seems less restrictive. Removed the code that was retrieved on my scan-tool. Great product. Thanks!

Better Performance and MPG
Overall i would say this is a must for OEM replacement. Price is good and you do have an increase in MPG and performance. I have had it a month now and would say the throttle response is very easy and quick. If you are going to upgrade to performance exhaust with a cat-back then this would be a great first in line product to free up the exhaust with first.
