I replaced this on my ,00 GMC 1500 W/5.3l engine. Hot starts were a problem since the factory regulator leaked gas into the vacuum line and consequently the intake. Overnight, the excess fuel would evaporate, but if parked for an hour or so, starting was difficult. This was the fix!
