Best Answer:Hi, The dash cover should fit snugly over the entire dash. Practice putting it in place for later when you'll do this with silicone on the cover. Clean the underside of your Coverlay dash cover. Align and secure it with tape, weights, and wedges (placed between your windshield and dash cover)Apply the silicone provided in your kit to the underside of the dash cover.

Best Answer:Hi Fletcher, As per checking, the dash cover does not mention anything or a hole provision for the light sensor. As I see it, the cover does not block the light sensor portion because this simply installs over existing dashboard.

Gave it a rating of "2", because it turned out to be usable, with the additional precautions and I had experience installing the Dash caps. The hodge-podge warranty has several contradicting statements in it. Would not want to make a claim on it.
