Hello. I have a 2012 Cadillac SRX4 Performance Collection which came with the optional and very problematic HID Projection headlights. The driver side low beam and high beam headlights quit working and it's not the bulbs but a wiring issue. They're the original headlight assemblies that leak water and have other multiple issues. Can these headlight assemblies be installed to replace the HID headlight assemblies from the factory? To repair them the mechanic has to take the front fascia bumper assembly off and I would much rather change the headlights to Halogen or LED's because Cadillac has had so many problems with the HID headlights and Cadillac won't and didn't take care of the many major problems associated with the HID headlights. If they are compatible that would save me a lot of money and headaches in the future because the mechanic can fix the electrical or wiring issue but the HID headlights are garbage and would still continue to leak and blow light bulbs and have more problems from the moisture problem.
