If the vapor canister purge solenoid fails, it can cause a variety of issues with the vehicle's emissions system. It can include triggering the check engine light to come on, as the car's onboard diagnostic system detects a problem with the emissions system. Depending on the severity of the issue, the check engine light may stay on indefinitely or intermittently. Please provide a diagnostic code so we can confirm the problem 100%.
