How do you replace this cable?Javier M.Sep 20, 2020
Best Answer:Hello Javier, We recommend referring to a good repair manual for step by step instructions. It may require basic automotive knowledge for proper installation and professional installation is always recommended. You can find more information here: https://www.carparts.com/blog/why-you-should-always-consult-a-repair-manual/

The cable is in good condition the bushing at the transmission broke can i just replace the connection or do i have to replace the entire cable ?Charles F.Dec 10, 2021
Best Answer:Hello! Unfortunately you would need to replace the cable. I'm not aware of a replacement pivot that is designed to be crimped onto the existing cable. It would probably have to be slightly longer to compensate for the likely broken cable.
