I replaced the blower motor resistor once already on my 2005 GMC YUKON DENALI. Bought it from Chevy dealer. 2 years later now, i went to turn on my A/C and nothing happened. Anyways, i found the problem. The blower motor resistor must've shorted and also melted the terminal to the connector and fried the wires up to spliced connections. Would this replacement fix my issue or is there likely something else going on here?Hector R.Oct 28, 2021
Best Answer:Hello! This product should fix your issue!

My blower will not turn off even when I turn off the ignition switch and remove the keys it's a 2006 Silverado where should I start looking for the problem ?Jesse M.Jun 30, 2020
Best Answer:Hello! There is definitely a short somewhere, and I recommend that you remove the fuse until you find the issue. It's possible that the blower motor resistor itself is internally shorted, and you can measure resistance across the terminals. If you get 0 ohms, then it is internally shorted. Otherwise, you will have to start tracing the wiring back to the fuse box.

My heater won't blow i replaced the blower fan and still nothing all the fuses are good its a 2005 buick rainier?luke H.Jul 03, 2020
Best Answer:Check your blower motor resister. Connections on plug can show signs of burn up . If that isn’t the issue it could be your climate control panel
