1997 BMW 528i:  Bought elsewhere, guaranteed to fit like yours, but clips on the bottom of the back side are too thick and the mechanic said it doesn't fit.  Yours looks the same on the back, so how do I get it to fit with the clips being different?John C.Jun 09, 2021

Cost effective replacement door handle
This part is made out of plastic rather than die cast metal as the original but it is many times less expensive than an OEM part and works just as well. It may not last as long but for a 22 year old car, that is probably not an issue. It comes primed and ready for paint which took a day to apply two coats of color and one clear.
