Hi my neighbor bought this mirror for his 2007 BMW 328XI. The car harness only has 3 pins and this one has 5 pins. Every time you plug it in the mirror tilts down and keeps running. This is with out touching the switch. How do I make this thing work or do you have the correct mirror? Thanks, DaleA shopperJun 11, 2020
Best Answer:Hello! My assumption would be that your neighbor's car does not have the heated mirror option. It may be possible to bypass the heater circuit if you are comfortable wiring and have access to wiring diagrams, but I would recommend calling the dealership and verifying the options his car has, and getting the part number for the appropriate mirror if possible.
