Product Q&A

Does the unit need to be filled before there is ANY functioning of the unit? There must be a failsafe that prevents unit from engaging. Am I right on that?John C.Nov 03, 2020
Best Answer:Hi John, As per checking, this is an OEM grade PAG oil 8 oz. volume, PAG 100 Oil. Refrigerant charged oil circulates through the system while keeping 60-70% of the oil in the compressor at all times. This provides adequate lubrication to reduce friction (heat) and wear (metal particles that will cause premature compressor failure and clog condenser passages).
