Good value for the money
The part fits well but do not expect BMW quality construction. I installed mine with little trouble and it’s working well. It does not come with hardware. I used a mix of original and new screws to fasten it in place.

Good fit, but quality lacking
My engine cover fell off at highway speeds, and was trashed, so rather than attempt to use it, I opted to buy another. The BMW brand was $300! Not a great price for a 16 year old car, so I looked elsewhere. While the fit is perfect, the quality is much thinner material, so does require ALL the screws are screwed into the clips, no getting away with only using a few screws as I had on the old one. So, I had to order more screws and clips to replace the ones I had lost. Otherwise, this was floppy and fell down without every hole being screwed in. I think it will work fine, but I would have preferred a nicer quality, just wasn't willing to pay for it!
