It was packed perfectly and there was not a scratch on it considering how much it weighs - excellent! Great notes about how to install it and things to look out for as well as all-new seals for the parts you take off the old steering gear and put on the new one. The manufacture encouraged you to watch a 3-minute video which was very helpful. This was my first time installing a rack and pinion as you can see my outside workbench is a couple of trash cans. The bottom line is it works great!
