Best Answer:Hi James, I'm pleased to assist you. No need to remove the windshield to install this part. The dash cap should fit snugly on top of your entire dash cover. First, clean your existing dash and the underside of your new dash cover. Practice putting it in place with tape. Apply the silicone adhesive provided in your kit to the underside of the dash cover around the edges and vent holes. Dash cover
This is one of the best aftermarket products I’ve ever bought. I have a 98 Chevy and it made my dash look so good I now want to paint my glove box to match. May want a friend to help install since it’s so long and bulky but the fit is incredible and now a year later you can’t even tell it’s just a cover. I also put some added foam below the old dashboard ( that’s how big my holes were) but I’m not sure if that’s necessary. With that said I have no squeaks. Would highly recommend if your dash is trashed like mine was, the alternatives are more expensive and may not look as good.
