Best Answer:Hi Carl, I'm pleased to assist you. No part of the old dash will be seen. The dash cap should fit snuggly to completely cover the entire dash. First, clean your old dash and the underside of your new dash cover. Tape it in place while practicing. Apply the silicone adhesive included in your kit to the underside of the dash cover, paying special attention to the edges and vent holes.
