Product Questions & Answers

Q:I have been doing mass sensor and control valve replacements to my very nice '98 MB S320 I6 based on an issue with smog, and catch-up on Preventative Maintenance. Now it's looking good, no more error codes; just need a Drive Cycle to reset some monitors. As such, I can't get to this PM replacement until the Drive Cycle is completed, I have smog cleared and the registration done, so I would have likely gone through a good portion of my "return period" option. So if order can you send it the lowest cost shipping (no hurry here) and start the return period when I receive the part, not when it's shipped or ordered? I need to do the same catch up on my 1999 Lincoln Navigator (also still a nice vehicle) while my son is staying here for a while as I'm old (86+) and he has the strength and dexterity I no longer have. Thank you..Mal Allison Show Less

P0507 Code: Idle Control System RPM Higher than ExpectedOn many older vehicles, the PCM/ECM regulates the idle speed by controlling the movement of the Idle Speed Control (ISC) valve. Despite the varying names given by respective manufacturers, P0017 code simply means that the PCM believes the difference between the crankshaft position and the camshaft position exceeds specification.
