Q:02 Silverado, 5.3.  Engine died while driving, cranks, but won't start.  Fuel pump fine, battery fine, alternator fine...could this be it?  Thank you! Show Less

A:BEST ANSWERHi Arob, I'm glad to help you out. If the crankshaft position sensor or its wiring has any issues, it can cause the crankshaft signal to be cut off while the engine is running, which can cause the engine to stall. This is usually a sign of a wiring problem. However, a bad crankshaft position sensor can also produce this symptom. I hope this helps.
