At what temperature does the sensor bring the radiator fan on/off on a 2011 Sport Unlinmited JKU?Paul CiuppaFeb 24, 2021
Best Answer:Hi Paul, This part is guaranteed to fit the 2011 Jeep Wrangler (JK) Unlimited Sport 6 Cyl 3.8L .38 - 18 NPT Thread, 2 Terminals. The engine coolant sensor or a separate engine temperature switch is used to monitor engine temperature. Extra cooling is not needed when a cold engine is first started, so the fan does not come on until the engine reaches normal operating temperature (195 to 215 degrees).

Coolant Temperature Sensor, Sold Individually
08 jeep grand Cherokee Laredo ECT sensor
Part arrived quick and was a solid direct plug in fit..I did add a little bit of Teflon tape to the sealant that came supplied on the threads to make sure it didn't leak any coolant. Problem solved. Guage now reading coolant temperature.
